There is no Death; The Son of God has Risen!
M-28.4 All living hearts are tranquil with a stir of deep anticipation, for the time of everlasting things is now at hand. There is no death. The Son of God is free. And in his freedom is the end of fear. (ACIM)
2 Timothy 1:10 but now has been revealed by the appearing of our Savior Christ Jesus, who abolished death and brought life and immortality to light through the gospel,
Revelation 21:4 and He will wipe away every tear from their eyes; and there will no longer be any death; there will no longer be any mourning, or crying, or pain.”
During this Lenten Season let us not focus on the Crucifixion of God’s Son, but on His lesson that “There is no Death, The Son of God is free” (W-163) Easter is a sign of peace and not a sign of pain . My Lenten devotion will be to offer my brothers and sisters “the gift of lilies instead of a crown of thorns”. (T-20.I:2) Love instead of fear, forgiveness instead of judgment!
Easter is a time of joy and with that let us pray:
Our Father, bless our eyes today. We are Your messengers, and we would look upon the glorious reflection of Your Love which shines in, everything. We live and move in You alone. We are not separate from Your eternal life. There is no death, for death is not Your Will. And we abide where You have placed us, in the life we share with You and with all living things, to be like You and part of You forever. We accept Your Thoughts as ours, and our will is one with Yours eternally. Amen. (W-163.9)
